Hidden with Christ
Our union with Christ - the reality that we have died with him and been raised with him - radically changes how we live.
As Paul says in this passage, our life is now “hidden with Christ”. This will shape how we cope with opposition from the world, fight sin and love God. It is a very practical truth.
There has been a transformation of our identity: we have died and are risen with Christ. The change that has taken place as a result is the power source that enables us to leave sin and live for God - to grow in practical holiness.
