Suffering, Exaltation and Confidence

The Gospels provide us with a narrative of Christ’s sufferings and death, but Psalm 22 gives us an incredible first-person viewpoint on these events. We see the mind of Christ as he bears the sins of his people, and his constant confidence in the Father. The second half of the Psalm opens up the exaltation of Christ that we can participate in today.
