We are thrilled to have re-opened the church for weekly gathered worship services, commencing on the 5th July. This is in addition to continuing to live-stream the services via YouTube. We have implemented a whole raft of measures in order to reduce the dangers associated with the virus, with the aim being to balance the risk posed by the virus with the immense benefit of (and scriptural command for) corporate, gathered worship.
If you do intend to join us, please do let us know by completing the form at the bottom of this page so we can plan seating arrangements. It is not required, so if you have not filled in the form, you are still very welcome to attend.
We want to be open and transparent about our re-opening plans and as such below you will find four important resources:
- Our re-opening procedures which outline what adjustments we have made to gathered worship. These give the details of what to expect when you come to church.
- A risk assessment completed and approved by the ASPC Trustees which seeks to comply with the relevant government legislation necessitating an appropriate assessment and mitigation of the risks associated with re-opening a place of worship.
- A risk assessment for our congregational support groups.
- A video demonstrating visually what coming to church will be like. We encourage you to watch this prior to attending so that when you arrive you can concentrate on worship and fellowship, having already familiarised yourself with our new procedures.
