We are an evangelical, Reformed church and we welcome people of any and all backgrounds. We want to make known the good news of God’s free grace, to nurture the family of faith and to enjoy together the unsearchable riches of Christ. Feel free to look through this site to find out more about us. We are thankful to God that visitors can expect a simple worship service, the centrality of the Word of God and the warmth of Christian fellowship. Our upcoming services are displayed below, it would be great to have you with us.
We have recently moved from our building in Gateshead to All Saints Church, a large, historic church in the centre of Newcastle. As such we have changed our name from 'Gateshead Presbyterian Church' to 'All Saints Presbyterian Church'. You can see more details on our Building Project Page.
Services at All Saints commenced Sunday, 13th October.
As a church which holds firmly to the Westminster Standards we are committed to the ordinary means of Grace. This motivates us to concentrate on truly gospel projects where the aim is always to transform lives by exposing them to the Word of God, Prayer and the Sacraments, as a means through which The Holy Spirit delights to work. With this in view we are delighted to have the opportunity to serve God in a number of ways, a few of which are found below:
We are committed to equipping men to hold fast to God’s faithful Word, with a particular focus on preparing them for planting churches. With this in mind we are intimately involved with developing and supporting England’s very own Presbyterian Seminary.
We have had the privilege of planting a new church in Sunderland. We pray that God would make the newly-established Sunderland Presbyterian Church a blessing to the people of that city.
We see conferences as one means by which God may reform and revive his church. We are actively preparing for the ReformationUK conference in October 2019 on the topic of The Holy Trinity.
It is a real joy for our church to have the opportunity to share the gospel and Christian fellowship with so many students. We seek to love and care for the students who come along both on Sundays and for the Student Bible Study on Saturday mornings.
We are delighted to offer our brothers and sisters from South Asia an opportunity to meet, learn from God’s Word and worship him together. Hanooq Yaqub, a man currently training for the ministry, leads this weekly fellowship in Urdu at 7pm each Sunday.
